2025 Mercedes GLC 43 AMG POV night drive, highway drive, launch control, 0-60 acceleration, exhaust sound, ambient lighting, review.

The GLC is the best-selling Mercedes in the United States, so I don’t need to tell you how important it is for the brand. Just looking at the lineup, you’ll see that there’s something for everyone.

We have the base GLC 300 model, the plug-in hybrid GLC 350e, and two offerings from AMG – the GLC 43 and the top of the line GLC 63 S. There are coupe and regular variants available.

Today’s hero is the GLC 43, and what’s just as impressive as it is controversial about this model is the powertrain. Gone is the twin-turbo V6, and in its place is an electrified, turbocharged 2-liter 4-cylinder engine, which makes 416 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque.

As an AMG model, there’s more to it than just the engine. The GLC 43 features a retuned suspension with adaptive dampers, bigger brakes with 6-piston front calipers, and a standard 4-wheel steering system.

Other luxury compact SUVs to consider are a BMW X3, Audi Q5, Audi SQ5, Porsche Macan, Volvo XC60, Lexus NX, Genesis GV70, Acura RDX.
