The 2026 DS 7 Pallas builds on DS Automobiles’ shift from its Citroën origins into a standalone premium brand. In France, pricing starts around €47,710 for the base Pallas, while higher Pallas and E-TENSE plug-in hybrid versions rise to about €50,100 and €52,540. The updated DS 7 adopts a sharper, more premium look with slimmer LED headlights and five vertical “light veil” LED strips at the corners of the front end. At the rear, narrower LED taillights, a redesigned tailgate, and new DS lettering replace the old Crossback badge. New alloy wheel designs complete its more refined stance.

DS has removed all petrol-only engines, offering only diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The entry PHEV pairs a 1.6-litre petrol engine with a 109 bhp electric motor and front-wheel drive, while mid-range and top versions add a second 110 bhp motor for all-wheel drive. All PHEVs use a larger 14.2 kWh battery with about 40 miles of electric range. Charging takes roughly 1 hour 45 minutes on a 7 kW wallbox or about seven hours on a standard household socket.

Technology remains a key strength. Active Scan Suspension uses forward-facing cameras to read the road and adjust damping in real time for a smoother ride, especially on moderately even surfaces. With its calm driving character, premium cabin, and distinctive French design, the DS 7 stands out as a sophisticated alternative in the premium SUV segment.
