BMW N57 Timing Chains Assembly Procedure

After removing the engine from the car, it is time to place it on the engine stand and start uncovering the timing chains. In this video we going to see the wear on all of the timing components and we going to compare them with the new BMW OEM ones. This video will have step-by-step detailed as possible DIY information about the timing chains change procedure on this BMW N57 diesel engine. The procedure is pretty much the same on BMW N47 diesel engine (except you will need to time the crankshaft with the flywheel, not like shown in this video).
