From here, we follow the Thalwil–Arth-Goldau–Luzern axis, known for smooth double-track sections, modern signalling, and gentle gradients suited to intercity speeds. The scenery shifts from urban approaches to vineyards, lakeside villages, and rolling foothills before the calm arrival into Luzern’s iconic terminal station.
