From Failed Inspection to Road Legal: DIY Rust Repair with a Cheap Welder!
My project car failed its inspection (APK) due to a major rust issue, making it illegal to drive! Instead of shelling out big bucks at a repair shop, I decided to tackle the fix myself with the cheapest flux core welder I could find.

Can a complete beginner with a budget welder patch up a significant rust hole, make the car road legal again, and save hundreds in the process?

Join me as I grind out the rust, cut new metal, and attempt to weld panels back in. You'll see my struggles (and the occasional burst of fire!), my gradual improvement, and even a comparison with a more advanced welder. I'm learning to weld on the fly to save my beloved car—a car that turns out to have a secret history of its own!
