In 1943, within the walls of German-occupied Warsaw, over 450,000 Jews were trapped inside the Ghetto, a symbol of human suffering under the Third Reich. Starvation, disease, and despair ruled their lives until they chose defiance over death. For 28 days, flames consumed the city as the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising wrote one of the darkest pages in Third Reich history. SS General Jürgen Stroop, who led its destruction, later faced justice, a reckoning forever marked in Third Reich history.
