Yes, that is its actual name!
Some would argue that the words performance & diesel were never meant to go together, but with modern technology this couldn't be further from the truth.
The M50D means BMW packed one of their greatest 6 cylinder diesel powerplants into their beefier SUV. As if that wasn't enough, the engineers stuffed 3 Turbos in there for good measure!
The result? 380bhp and 740nm of torque! This ends in a claimed 0-60mph time of 5.1 seconds, so, let's test that out shall we?
