The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class estate has a 640 litre boot, 1820 with seats folded. The car can carry up to 745 kg payload. There is a choice of 2 and 3 litre petrol and diesel engines, and one 3.5 litre petrol engine. Power ranges from 150 to 401 hp. Mercedes engineers rightly assume the E-Class estate will carry a lot of luggage, and possibly tow a trailer, so it comes with rear air suspension and a trailer coupling as standard. Moreover the car can be equipped with many driver aids, including remote parking. Prices of the new Mercedes-Benz E Class estate start at around 48 thousand euro. The AMG E43 4MATIC performance figures are similar to Audi S6 Avant and BMW 530i Touring.
