Recovering an ABANDONED Motorcycle that Spent HALF A DECADE Buried Under Snow..

This dirt bike was left to die in these mountains for 5 WINTERS. We went and got it running..

In this video I'm following up on the abandoned motorcycle I found in the mountains a couple months ago. Except, this time I'm heading out there with a new friend. After I published the video where I found this bike, my now friend, David reached out to me and asked me if I wanted to try and rescue the poor machine before it spent another winter under the snow. He went out there on his own time, repaired the stator wires, put air in the tires, cleaned the carb, and unseized the chain. Now, were gonna ride out there two-up with fresh fuel and some parts. We'll drain the remnants of old fuel out of the tank, fill it with fresh gas, install a cleaned carb, install a clutch perch/lever, and miraculously get the bike running for the first time in YEARS.

UPDATE ON THE BIKE- So, currently I am in the process of finding the owner. I have already researched the VIN on this motorcycle and it is NOT stolen. My guess is that it was crashed hard enough to rip the stator wires and the rider didn't know how to fix it which ultimately caused them to abandon the bike. Then of course it sat for years which further deterred people from trying to fix it until now. My hope is to find the owner and return the motorcycle to them. If they don't want the bike, then I will see if they want me to take it. Then perhaps I could donate it to a motorcycle technical school for them to work on or maybe I or David could find a purpose for it. First and foremost though, the primary goals of this project were to clean up the forest and try to return this vehicle to its rightful owner. Also, all broken components from the bike and old fuel were removed from the trail. The motorcycle is a 200cc 14 Horsepower dual sport from China. Its not a name brand bike like a Honda or Yamaha.
