We’re back at it — one project closer to that $10,000 goal! After hauling home a tired 2003 Nissan Frontier, it’s time to dig in and bring this truck back to life with a scratch and spray bedliner paint job. It's an old beat up truck, so I'm just going to take it one step towards being halfway normal again. I know it's not the ideal way to paint a vehicle, but phosphoric acid should help to slow down the rust process on this old Nissan.
In this episode:
Replace missing brake caliper bolts to get the front right brake working again
Chase down a nasty vacuum leak in the brake booster system
Attend to a wiring issue in the stereo
Grind off years of rust and crust
Soak the car in phosphoric acid to eat away the rust as much as possible
Give the whole thing a bed liner paint job using BED LINER TURBO CANS
It’s not perfect yet, but we’re making solid progress toward that $10,000 fix and flip goal. The Frontier’s one big step up from the lawn mowers and mopeds that got this whole thing rolling — and I’m already planning the next move.
