SO'HAM: SHIVA SHAKTI Unification Mantra | The End of Duality Meditation

Published at : 13 Dec 2025

This Advaita Mantra Medley is centred on the sacred mahāvākya So’ham — “I am That” — a direct expression of non-dual realization found in the Upaniṣadic tradition and articulated by Adi Śaṅkarācārya.

In Advaita Vedānta, So’ham is not affirmation or imagination; it is recognition. The apparent individual self (ahaṅkāra) is seen to be none other than Brahman, pure being-consciousness-bliss.

Here, Shiva and Shakti are revealed not as separate deities, but as one indivisible reality:
Shiva as awareness itself, and Shakti as its living power. Their unity is expressed inwardly as one’s own true nature.

The mantra unfolds as a meditative sequence, allowing repetition, breath, and silence to guide the listener beyond conceptual thought into stillness. It is intended for deep meditation, mantra japa, yoga, and contemplative listening, where meaning is absorbed through presence rather than analysis.
