📍 Initial condition – When time “kills” a vehicle
Two trucks – Hyundai HD72 and KIA Frontier K3000S – were towed to the garage in a state of abandonment on an empty lot for more than 3 – 5 years. The entire body and machinery were severely degraded:
Engine: heavy rust, no start, thick oil deposits, clogged spark plugs and injectors.
Electrical system: mouse-bitten wires, short circuit, blackened lights and equipment not working.
Underbody: rotten, stuck drive shaft, blown tires, stuck brakes, broken springs.
Car body: rotten trunk floor, loose hinges, rusty iron frame.
Interior: moldy, torn seats, collapsed ceiling, rotten dashboard, completely broken air conditioner.
🔧 Restoration process - Step by step to revive the old warhorse
1. Engine & transmission
Disassemble the entire engine, clean the combustion chamber and oil pipes.
Replace pistons, bearings, piston rings, spark plugs, injectors.
Clean the radiator, replace the cooling fan and new water pipes.
Rebuild turbo, oil pump, fuel filter and high pressure pump.
Align the transmission system: gearbox, clutch, drive shaft.
✅ Result: The engine runs smoothly again after nearly 1 week of working on the engine - no more black smoke, the car runs strong.
2. Chassis & brake system
Lower the chassis, rust and weld the entire chassis.
Replace all rubber mounts, tie rods, shock absorbers, and wheel bearings.
Re-do brakes (brake pads, shock absorbers, air hoses, air lines).
Install 4 new tires, align steering rack and rear axle.
