US Signals New Organisation With RUSSIA As Europe Gets Sidelined
Zelensky has stated that only the Ukrainian people can decide on territorial issues. He said he is willing to organise elections, but only after a full ceasefire is agreed upon by Russia. The Russians have stated that they won’t agree to a full ceasefire unless Ukraine first agrees to a peace framework. Donald Trump has shown frustration with the Ukrainian and European leaders and has implied that the US won’t be attending the meeting planned for Saturday in Paris, unless he receives guarantees that a breakthrough is possible. The US is thinking of founding a new organisation called The “Core 5” which would be similar to the G7. The members of this new organisation would be US, Russia, China, India and Japan. The EU Commission has been granted emergency powers in order to keep the Russian assets frozen indefinitely.
