We’re back on the island, and Episode 4 is a BIG milestone for our off-grid build.
After a full day of troubleshooting, our generator finally roared back to life and we got straight to work finishing the floor joists. It was a lot of measure… cut… repeat… but once the structure was in, the entire build transformed. By the end of the day, we installed the plywood and stood on the first floor of our off-grid island home for the very first time.
This moment changed everything.
