I recently had the chance to take the 2025 Toyota 4Runner Trailhunter Edition on a 700-mile, week-long road trip from the Oregon Coast to the high desert in the east — a full traverse of one of the most diverse and wild states in the U.S. Overlanding and living out of a roof top tent. From rugged coastlines to dense forests, volcanic peaks to remote desert plains, this journey was all about exploring the untamed side of Oregon. Big thanks to Toyota for making it happen.
