The US president is calling on Thailand and Cambodia to honour agreements they made over their disputed border.
But Thailand says its military will continue fighting until it faces “no further threat”.
33 people have been killed on both sides, mostly civilians, in the past week.
More than half a million people have fled to evacuation camps.
